Aeration and Over Seeding

Aeration and Over Seeding

This service is a highly under utilized lawn care service.  Imagine trying to grow grass on concrete; it does not work very well.  Aerating is a way to make sure your grass doesn’t turn hard over the course of time.  Your lawn will harden over time depending on watering habits and the traffic on your turf.  Aeration relieves compaction of your soil so that water can soak into your soil instead of run off.

Benefits of Aeration:

  • Improves air exchange from soil to atmosphere
  • improves fertilizer use
  • improves turf grass rooting
  • improves turfs tolerance to heat and drought
  • enhances root development
