The spring clean up can consist of almost any service you feel needs to be performed to your lawn. Generally we remove the sand form the boulevards, then blow all the leaves, debris, etc. out of the landscape beds, mow the lawn (dethatch if needed), and suck up all the grass and debris. The fall clean-up generally consists of picking up leaves on the lawn areas and in the landscape beds if desired.

Power raking is needed when a lawn has a thatch problem. Excess thatch in the lawn smothers the existing grass and reduces its ability to grow healthy. Excess thatch can also lead to lawn disease if not taken care of. In most cases dethatching can take care of the problem, but if the excess thatch is extreme, power raking ma be needed. Power raking includes taking a small ingine powered power rake over the lawn to dig up the thatch whereas dethatching is less aggressive but in most cases is all that is needed.
