This program initiated our team to put in the studying and training hours for licenses and certifications, like ISA Certified Arborists, NDSU Pro-Horticulturists, Hunter Industries Product Technicians, RainBird Irrigation Basics and Licensed Commercial Applicators.
All training and certification costs are covered by All Terrain Grounds Maintenance.
ISA Certified Arborists
ISA Certified Arborists is a voluntary program that tests and certifies your achievement of a professional level of knowledge and skill in the field of arboriculture.
Who is eligible to apply for the exam?
“The ISA Credentialing Council requires a candidate to have a minimum of three years of full-time experience in arboriculture or a combination of education and practical arboricultural experience. One year of full-time experience is equal to approximately 1,795 hours of work.”
Licensed Commercial Applicators
Our spray division members are all individually licensed commercial applicators, not under an owner – umbrella license as you traditionally see. The NDSU Extension Pesticide Certification Program helps North Dakotans get the certification required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for using restricted-use pesticides.

NDSU Pro-Horticulturists
A majority of our staff are Pro-Horticulturists through the NDSU Extension program. The course is throughout a 10-week program consisting of lectures, videos, reading materials and handouts, weekly quizzes and a final exam.
This program covers a variety of topics to have our team be knowledgeable in many areas, such as tree planting, annuals best suited for ND, botany basics and plant physiology, diagnosing plant programs, establishing and maintaining turf, fertilizers and nutrient disorders, flowering shrubs, perennials for all seasons, trees for ND, weed identification and management.
Irrigation Certified Technicians
At All Terrain, our technicians must complete Hunter Industries, Rain Bird Irrigation and our own in-house irrigation classes to be set to tackle any repair or issue that may arise while on a customer site visit.
